When walking along Lavender St in Lavender Bay, you will stumble across this panoramic view of Sydney Harbour. I find it refreshing to see Sydney Harbour Bridge with the mud brick and sandstone buildings, and native bushes as seen below.

Why I love this view from Lavender St, Lavender Bay?

Firstly, I love it how people can just grab their smartphones and capture their very own piece of Sydney while passing by on their daily walk or run. Secondly, it’s lovely that I don’t have to always head right into the city centre to enjoy the spectacular views of Sydney Harbour. Thirdly, the heritage-style residential blocks gives the image a lot more character and a local feel to this vantage point. It’s great to see a mixture of the older and more modern style of buildings here. I also like seeing Luna Park and the yachts featured in this photo as it shows what Sydney is all about.
